Toward the end of squirrel hunting season (February), the weather in Louisiana starts to warm up. The woods still have that quiet winter feeling, but vegetation is greening up for warmer weather.
This painting is framed in a floater frame of recycled wood.
The painting was featured in my "Horizon" exhibition at River Oaks during autumn, 2017, which then moved to two other venues in Alexandria, Louisiana.
