I developed this painting based on a day my siblings and I spent near Rockport, Massachusetts. The day was warm and breezy, and the light was bright. The ocean was cold. Oceans have always beckoned me to travel and go beyond the horizon.
The painting was featured in my "Horizon" exhibition at River Oaks during autumn, 2017, which then moved to two other venues in Alexandria, Louisiana.
