More Secrets of the Catahoula

There’s a pond in the Catahoula National Wildlife Management Preserve in Kisatchie National Forest. The first time I saw it was during winter a few years ago. It was one of places that I knew I HAD to paint. So I did.  And the place became my secret pond in the Catahoula. Since that time I’ve painted my secret pond several times, and this is one of the original three very different paintings of that place.  I’m driven to do more. It’s a place with no end of magic. Monet had his Giverny, and I have my secret pond in the Catahoula.
